Alternative Spring Break applications available

This coming Spring Break (March 12-18, 2017), the Office of Volunteerism, Community Engagement & Commuter Services (VCECS) will be sponsoring another student-led Alternative Break service trip. Join us for a hands-on experience that you won't forget.

The scheduled trip is: Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Florida.

Give Kids The World Village is a nonprofit organization that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses by providing them with a magical, joyful, cost-free getaway. Volunteers help make the children's experience magical by helping with the entertainment, food service, and various projects that will put a smile on each and every child's face. Volunteers will have close interactions with the families and children to enrich their own experience in the village. To learn more, visit: http://www.givekidstheworld.org/

Applications for both Student Leader positions as well as Student Participant positions are available. To pick one up, feel free to stop by the VCECS office in Chamberlain Student Center Suite 210, download one from our website (www.rowan.edu/volunteer), or visit our Facebook page (Facebook.com/RowanVolunteerism).

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the VCECS office at volunteer@rowan.edu
